Introduction:

The lung is a paired organ, present in the thoracic cavity on each side of the heart near the backbone. This is the primary organ of the human respiratory system. The lung is the lower part of the respiratory system that comprises trachea, bronchi, and bronchioles. Air enters in the body through the nose and mouth, which travels to the throat and enters into the trachea. From the trachea, air enters the bronchial tubes on each side.
