Mrs. Tanner, who is a 45-year-old mother, was traveling in the bus that met with an accident. When the paramedics arrived, they saw that she was lying on her side in the aisle. The injury resulted in damage to the sciatic nerve. This nerve passes through the thigh, lower leg, and foot. A reduction was performed, and it was noticed that the right thigh was flexed at the hip.
