To describe: The way in which Hubel and Wiesel theory and spatial frequency theory differ.

Introduction: Eye is the sensory organ that is responsible for vision. The inner sensitive region called retina is made up of photoreceptors, namely rods and cones. The rods are responsible for vision in dim light while the cones are responsible for bright light vision. The ability to differentiate colors is due to the presence of cone cells.
