Smart pointer:
In C++, a smart pointer is an object that may work like pointer but it has an ability to delete the memory which is dynamically allocated after its usage.
- It is an abstract data type that similar as a pointer, includes additional features like dynamic memory management.
- While using pointer, a problem like “dangling pointer” can be raised. A dangling pointer is a pointer which points a memory that has been freed, which means the storage is not allocated. Trying to access this kind of memory may cause segmentation fault.
