Explanation of Solution
Myelin can be defined as the lipid substance that is present in the central nervous system. It plays an important role in insulating the axons. The insulation of the axons by the myelin sheath increases the speed of information conduction from one cell body to the other.
Conclusion
The advantage of myelinated neurons is that it helps in a faster conduction velocity of information between different cell bodies.
