As organizations have restructured themselves to compete more effectively and efficiently, they have turned to teams as a better way to use employee talent. Teams typically surpass individuals when the task requires multiple skill set and experience. Teams are more adaptable and responsive to changing events than other traditional departments. Teams have the ability to quickly gather, position, refocus and disband.
