If the construction cost of a bungalow of size 34’6" (10.5 m) × 40'9" (12.4 m) was $120,790.00, what is the cost per square foot (square meter)?
This assignment consists of determining the quantities for a cost estimate in different units. Assume a rectangular warehouse with internal measurements of 22' wide, 34’long and 12' high. The warehouse has (including the frame): One 6' wide and 5' high window on all walls. A 6' wide and 8' high door in the front wall. Walls: 6” block (above floor) Concrete: thickness of ceiling = 5” and floor = 4” Assume 4 14” x 14” columns (1 column at each corner of warehouse) and one beam throughout perimeter below ceiling 14" wide and 20" high. The 4” concrete floor has a 6” wide by 12” high perimeter beam. The column footing will be counted 2'-6" from the top of the floor. Square footing size is 6'-0" x 6'-0" by 12" thick.
