The classification of the investigation carried out as comparative or controlled study as well as to design a separate one for studying adaptations of organisms in different cases.

Introduction:

A comparative study requires the comparison of the data collected from various sources at different conditions while a controlled study requires the experiment to be carried out at a specific condition, for example, temperature, pH (potential of hydrogen ion), and different salt concentrations. An experiment was conducted to evaluate the acclimatization and adaptability of bacteria to antibiotics. The results are depicted in the graph below where the survival rates of the bacterial populations at different antibiotic concentrations are shown.
