Why is it difficult to define quality?
Explain the reason for difficult to define quality.
Explanation of Solution
Justification:
The quality is the measure to which a product or service meets or exceeds the necessity of the customer. The two characteristics of a product or service that define quality are design quality and process quality.
Design quality would represent the specific characteristics, which is related to the design that are different for different customers.
Process quality would represent the reliability. The firm need to follow the standards and the specification in order to ensure the quality products for the customers.
It is difficult to define quality due to the reasons given below:
- Quality depends on the view of the persons or the products which they are using
- Various stages involved in defining the qualities, which makes challenging to define it.
- Quality can be changed over time, business, and per company as it is verified through the life dependability of the objects, serviceability, consistency, stability of the products, and so on.
