Physics is the branch of science that describes matter, energy, space and time at the most fundamental level. The study of physics is valuable for several reasons. Since all natural sciences are built on a foundation of the laws of physics, knowledge of physics is important for the study of other disciplines. Studying physics helps to gain and improve skills of thinking logically and analytically, solving problems and constructing mathematical models.
Learning physics is also important to understand the working of different devices in this technological world. Also since resources of the society are limited, it is essential to use them in beneficial ways and not squander them on scientifically impossible projects. This can be achieved only if the people have the knowledge of fundamental laws. Studying physics also helps to understand the beauty of the fundamental laws that describe the universe.
