Interpretation: The number of plates and the mass of the sample of recognition molecule capture molecule and detector molecule required per plate in the HIV assay is given. The given amount of the materials is to be checked if are sufficient enough to make the given number of plates and if the material is sufficient, than the excess amount of the material is to be calculated. If the material is not sufficient, then the number of the plates made is to be determined.
