Chapter 1, Problem 1.31RQ
Program Plan Intro
Database is a container or structure that is used to store or hold the data. It is a collection of organized data and it can be used to keep track of things.
Complexity in a database:
- DBMS (Database Management System) is a large, complex program or software that is used to manage and administer the stored databases and it is a computer based system to keep records.
- Query language such as SQL is used along with DBMS to interact with the database.
- It solves all the problems related to database and fulfils the requirements of the user.
- All these performance of DBMS makes it very complex software. Not understanding the functionalities of DBMS may cause database failure or data loss.
