1. Ordered dose of rantidine hydrochloride =  35 mg

Available dose = 50 mg in 2 ml vial

Hence in order to find desired dose we have to use following formula.

Desired dose = Ordered dose * Quantity / Available dose

     35 mg * 2 ml / 50 mg

   = 1.4 ml

Hence nurse will administer 1.4 ml of ranitidine.
