Write the complete model for AR(P = 2)d=12
Before you answer - this is a statistical problem. It is a time series stochastic process and I know that AR is the first part of the moving average and the MA is the second part. What I do not know is what to do with the d=12 part of this model.
I also do not know if the beginning part of the model is: (1-B1*12)Xt
Step by step
Solved in 2 steps
- Which of the following are reasons why a process would be considered stochastic? 1. we lack of data on the variable of interest/generating process 2. we lack quantitative understanding of the generating process 3. the generating process itself is random 4. the process can be modelled with certainty 5. the generating process changes over time#39 Question 4 A quality control engineer at a potato chip company tests the bag filling machine by weighing bags of potato chips. Not every bag contains exactly the same weight. But if more than 16% of bags are over-filled then they stop production to fix the machine. They define over-filled to be more than 1 ounce above the weight on the package. The engineer weighs 129 bags and finds that 27 of them are over-filled. He plans to test the hypotheses Ho: p = 0.16 versus H:p> 0.16. What is the test statistic? Z = (Please round your answer to two decimal places if necessary.)
- A1Help to solve this. Especially part bYou are observing the speeds of two CPUs, to find which one is expected to run faster. After a number of observations, you came up with the following results: CPU Speed Measurements 37 38 40 35 30 31 26 25 Number of Observations 18 15 CPU 1 CPU 2 10 10 10 5 0 2.0-24 2.5-2.9 3.5 - 3.9 4.0 - 4.5 3.0-3.4 Speed (GHz) A. Using this data, calculate the expected speed of each processor, and determine which of the two is faster. (Hint: when given a range of speeds, you can consider the average value within that range to be the speed at which the observations occurred).
- You are a researcher who wants to know what the mean (µ) level of anxiety would be for the whole population if they were all receiving a new anti-anxiety therapy. You can’t give the therapy to the whole population, so you give it to a sample, and you get M = 32.1 as the average anxiety level for the sample on the therapy. What is the reason that you can’t just simply assume that µ = 32.1? You didn’t use random assignment Sampling error Descriptive statistics Inferential statisticsQuestion 1 1. Suppose you are given that a continuous random variable has a moment generating function of 1 M (t) = 1-3.2t Find the mean and variance of the random variable. mean = var =Please no written by hand solution
