A project closeout report would have to be submitted at the conclusion of each project. It means that what a project needs to be formally terminated, meaning that the project needs come to an end; that funding and assets will no longer be needed, and company activities will proceed as they were before the project was planned. Manpower must be returned to their respective offices, and contracts with vendors must be terminated. This is a method of wrapping up loose ends, which could otherwise create uncertainty for all concerned stakeholders. This is a process which is formally performed in writing.
