Contractor work within or adjacent to Navigable Waterways because there are many rules and regulations which need to be followed for the execution and finalisation of the work are explained below :

1.Even the contractor have all the licenses and  permits for the work still permission from regional or local coast guard permission is required. Whenever the permission is granted they have to start their work so, for easy and early mobilisation of its resources the contractor works within the Navigable Waterways.

2. Contractor should be available for all the follow ups with the different authorities and he should prepare a proper schedule with all the detailings and its sketches if possible for the efficiency and understanding of the the work.

3.There are many restriction in and around the waterways from which project can be affected. Some of them are River and Harbour Act., Prevention for Clean water Act., Environment conservation law. So, the contractor should be aware and careful during the entire duration of the project.The Contractor shall become acquainted with those regulations since they may apply to their proposed construction activities.
