COVID-19 also known as coronavirus disease 2019 is a transmissible deadly disease, whose very first case was found in December 2019 in Wuhan in China. This is why it is also known by the name, Wuhan coronavirus, and Wuhan pneumonia. The basic cause of COVID 19 disease is a severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. The patient infected with coronavirus disease start showing symptoms from 1 to 14 days of getting exposure to the virus.

As soon as the virus outbreak happened, there was a realization that there was no medication present for the control. There were no particularly effective medicines or vaccines that might work on the virus. However, many countries globally have now invented and introduced different vaccines. For instance, Sputnik was developed by Russia, Pfizer by the USA whereas Covishield and Covaxine by India. These vaccines are intended to work in increasing the immunity of a human being against the virus. It would reduce the severity and deaths caused due to COVID-19.
