Why did the US Government want to move Indian tribes from the east to Kansa
The United States Congress passed a Bill On May 28, 1830, which was called the Indian Removal Act. On the same day after the singing of United States President Andrew Jackson, it's become a Law. According to this Law Native, Americans were removed from their Native or ancestral lands. President Jackson grants them lands west of the Mississippi River in exchange for Indian land. Few tribes moved from the East peacefully but most tribes were ready to move from there and starts resisting the relocation policy. They openly opposed removal from their lands, as a result of a long series of battles with white settlers. The US government want to move Indian tribes from the east to Kansas and other areas Because with the help of this Law they were eager to expand southward and also They got good fertile land for cultivation and in the future, it becomes great land for cotton production in the south.
