The Maximum and French common people both were angry with the royal court for their behavior with France people. Both were angry with the Taxation system of France. In that time period France society was divided into three estates:- the first ( Clergy) Second Estate ( Royal family and court members) and third Estate ( Commoners). One critical difference between the estate of the realm was the burden of taxation, which was also the biggest complaint of Maximilian and the common people. In the French taxation system, The nobles and royal family, and court members were largely excluded from taxation while the Commoners were paid all high direct Taxation. In 1789 there was a shortage of food because of continued dry and food became so expensive. Because of the high price Common people were not able to buy food.
