INTRODUCTION

Memory, is a part of cognitive system for storing and retrieving information. Without memory, an individual will be unable to remember the past, retain new information or solve problems. Psychologists have identified few signs of good memory. These include, rapidity, that means, how fast or rapidly an individual recalls what he or she has learned or his or her past experiences. If an individual is able to recall rapidly, then that individual is said to have a good memory. Second sign is accuracy, which means, how accurately an individual is able to recall the facts or events. Third sign of good memory is duration of time, that means, how long an individual is able to retain the learned material or past events and then recall them and the last sign is utility, which means recalling the exact events or learned materials at the right time.

Memory, involves learning, retention, recall and recognition of events, things etc.
