a) moles of CaCO= ( 31.0g / 100.1gmol-1 ) 

moles of CaCO= 0.31mol 

 

b) moles of HCl = ( 11.0g / 36.46gmol-1 ) 

moles of HCl = 0.30mol 

Here limiting reagent is HCl because it's have less moles which is completely consumed in the reaction.
