Expert Solution
Switzerland as a Euroverse

Switzerland as a country is known for its cultural and linguistic diversity along with a rich strand of history in its timelapse.

Neutrality has been a mainstay and a driving principle of Swiss identity. It is one of the few countries of the European region which has managed to remain neutral against everyone and has been able to steer clear of any conflict scenario, be it the two world wars or its whole history itself.

Peace and stability characterize this nation while it displays its rich and diverse culture in it visibly evident linguistic diversity and a varied minority.

Three of the major European languages namely German, French, Italian are the national languages of the country establishing its rainbow credentials and its strong sense of assimilation and progressive tendencies and outlook.

Since, it was invaded by the Romans, German and Burgundian tribes which ruled the region effectively carving up zones amongst themselves. These are still evident in the form of French and German-speaking regions of the country along with a slew of Latin based dialects such as Romansch.

Folkloristic aspects of the Swiss culture are very well preserved and are rightly celebrated throughout the whole country in its modern forms with huge variations be it in the field of music, cuisine, embroidery, clothing, dance, nativity figures etc.

The sculptural and architectural landscape consists of almost all the movements of the field be it the Renaissance art or the modern architecture of Le Corbusier.

Each Canton has its own cultural feature which is further divided informally into "mountain culture" which is more into the folkloristic aspects of the culture while "plateau culture" is dominated by the organized religions such as Christianity, Muslims, Jews etc. along with a very domineering population percentage of atheists.
