- In reticulate venation, the veins form a network-like structure or appearance. For example- leaves of dicot plants.
- In parallel venation, the veins arise from the midrib and run parallel without converging. For example- leaves of monocot plants.
- In furcate venation, the veins form dichotomous branching, like in leaves of a fern.
