Reference:

One of the different forms of discrimination is colorism, which refers to discrimination based on skin tone. The primary objective of this research was to improve the awareness of colorism since skin tone and color should never be used to excuse discrimination, especially racism, and to figure out how many people have experienced prejudice based on their skin tone or color and what the influences are. The researchers believe that it is about time that people should be aware and understand how this matter is becoming an alarming subject because of how it affects the perception of young Filipinos.
