Question
I do not understand how to do the problem. I know I use equation Eel=k q1 q2/d . I know k=8.99x10^9 . The answer given is c. 2.4 J. I just want to know how to work out the problem and understand how C is the answer. I think I may just be overcomplicating it. I know we have 3 cm so I converted that to meters so then I have 3 x 10^-2 m. I am not so sure about the q1 and q2 in order to figure out the rest of the equation.
