A sociological theory refers to an approach that analyzes, explains, and considers social factors from a sociological perspective. It tries to draw a connection between individuals and the whole and establish a sociological understanding of various social issues.
Macrosociological Theory focuses on the large scale of sociological aspects. It analyses population, social systems, and advanced levels of theoretical abstraction. It does not study the fundamental elements lie individuals, families, and groups. The contemporary macro-sociological approaches are Idealist Strategy, Materialist Strategy, Functionalist Strategy, and Conflict Theoretical Strategy. It examines large-scale patterns and analyzes social culture all over.
