What is ecological crisis in agricultural revolution ?
The movement from hunting and gathering to planting and maintaining was known as the First Agricultural Revolution. The Second Agricultural Revolution increased agricultural production through mechanization and improved transportation to market areas. Hybridization and genetic modification of products and increased use of pesticides and fertilizers were all part of the Third Agricultural Revolution.
In the world, there are two main farming methods. Producing agricultural products for use by the farm family is referred to as subsistence farming. Commercial farming entails the off-farm selling of agricultural goods.
Ecological crisis during the agricultural revolution are as follows:
- Degradation of Land
- Deforestation
- Overgrazing
- Soil nutrient deficiency as a result of intensive cultivation.
- An imbalance in soil nutrients, especially a micronutrient deficiency.
