The symptoms of clinical depression are present every day for almost 2 weeks. Some of the symptoms to diagnose clinical depression are as follows:

Fatigue or loss of energy almost every day.
Feelings of worthlessness or guilt for the most part of the day, and almost every day.
Impaired concentration or indecisiveness.
Insomnia or hypersomnia.
Diminished interest in almost all activities nearly every day, for the most part of the day.
