A) Calculate a 99% confidence interval for the mean length of a blue whale. Show all work!

B) The second largest mammal in the world is the fin whale. Suppose we know that the population mean length of adult fin whale is 19m. We wish to test whether the average length of a blue whale is more than this amount, using the data above. State the two competing hypothese. Define any parameters you use.
