The hypothesis definitely supports the data given in the figure. It is very much clear from the figure that the athletes who slept about 8 hours each night are prone to almost half of the chances of injuries as compared to the athletes who slept for just 6 hours each night. It proves that proper amount of sleep rewards the body a scope and much needed time to repair and recover damaged muscles, ligaments, bones and tendons and prevents injuries to them from excessive uses.

Giving sufficient rest to body and mind during a sleep also helps to efficiently manage reaction time of athletes which plays a crucial role to stay as conscious as possible during a live sport.
