Tacheometry Surveying for a given site:
1. The preliminary details of the survey site is collected.
2. Set the instruments on the selected site station and level the instrument precisely chief in reference to the altitude level.
3. Vernier of the instrument is set to zero and set its run with the altitude level at the center. Then measure the height of instrument accurately.
4. The instrument is oriented with the reference meridian as either magnetic meridian or true meridian.
5.The staff is hold on the benchmark and the bearing is recorded by taking vertical angle, top, bottom and axial hair reading.
6. When the benchmark is far from the traversing area, then fly level can be used for the available benchmark by setting out a temporary benchmark near the area.
