Select a political cartoon (or draw your own) that has to deal with the subject of the economy. It can be from the 1880s, like the Puck cartoons, or it can be a modern political cartoon.

Post your cartoon on the discussion board. You can right-click in the chatbox, and add a saved image from your computer. Students can post duplicates of the same cartoon if they wish, but I would encourage you to find one on your own. 

Then, do the following:

• Explain why you selected the political cartoon you posted, and what aspect of it you wanted to highlight. Go into how it focuses on the economy and how it satirizes or makes fun of individuals or nations in regards to the economy. 
• Comment on another student's choice of cartoon, and whether or not you agree with their explanation.
