Think of an issue that someone are currently struggling with. Some examples could be depression, trying to quit smoking, losing weight, etc. Look at the imagine of the support group. What do you notice about the supporting messages found on the imagine? Do you think they are helpful? Why or why not? Another thing would you find it easier to disclose anonymously online rather than face-to-face? Why or why not?

How to treat allergic rhinitis?

HELP / FAQ
Recently, I have experienced severe allergic rhinitis. Every morning I get up
and sneezing, runny nose, feeling a stuffy nose while sleeping, and it is
difficult to breathe with my nose. It has been almost two months. The doctor
gave me an anti-allergic drug (cetirizine), which was more effective when I
first started eating, but recently I even had a runny nose. Do you have any
suggestions? Because I really feel very uncomfortable, it has affected my
work and study.
Thanks for your help!

I think it you should visit an allergy specialist. You may require other medicine or
combination of medicines. Keep a diary and try to find out the trigger. Avoiding the trigger
can permanently solve your problem.

Remove any candles or scents in the room, close the bedroom door at night and put an air
filter machine by the bed Run the machine during the day and turn it off at night.

When the immune system responds to a foreign substance in an abnormal way, it is classified as an allergy. When the body first contacts the substance, it
will not cause any reactions, but the immune system will start to produce antibodies to it and subsequent contact will trigger more dramatic responses.
Depending on the allergy, the response could be mild or very severe...

I'm sorry that you're dealing with hives, angioedema, and sinus inflammation. Typically at a
first appointment, the allergist/immunologist will start by checking your nose, throat, skin
and lungs He/she may order testing-blood testing and/or skin prick testing -- to
determine what you are allergic to, if anything. While they do test for some autoimmune
diseases, their primary role is to treat systemic allergic conditions. If lupus is suspected,
they will likely refer you to a rheumatologist for testing/diagnosis and treatment, if needed.

I have seen allergists for most of my life, and frequently deal with hives and angioedema
as the result of both allergies and a mast cell disorder. I've been through the testing
numerous times, so if you have any questions along the way, feel free to post them or send
me a PM. Hope the allergist is able to give you some answers. Good luck!

I had an anaphylactic reaction to almonds. I usally always read the label but
mistakenly assumed that since another variety of the chocolate bar was:
s safe
that the one I had was safe. It said may contain almonds. My face swelled up
and my throat became tight. I used my epi pen and went to the ER. They gave
me Benadryl. I was there a few hours on a chair in the hallway because there
were no rooms. We have a doctor shortage. The ER doctor would check on
me. She said to take Benadryl for the next 24 to 48 hours. I get anaphylaxis
from tree nuts, strawberries, peppers and CT contrast dye.
