5 kingdom classifications is a type of classification in which living organisms are classified into 5 different kingdoms. In which one kingdom Monera contains prokaryotes and the remaining four kingdoms are eukaryotes.

Prokaryotes are the single celled organisms (unicellular) and are the simplest form, which do not contain the cell organelles like mitochondria and nucleus. Their genetic material is present in the nucleoid. They reproduce asexually by binary fission or conjugation etc.

Eukaryotes are the organisms in which nucleus id developed and is surrounded by a membrane. Eukaryotes contain different organelles inside the cell carry out different functions in the cell. Some of the organelles of eukaryotic cell are nucleus, mitochondria, ribosomes, Golgi apparatus, lysosomes, peroxisomes, chloroplasts etc.
