Expert Solution
Step 1

As per the hierarchy of life, cell is the smallest entity that consists life of its own. It is famously called the structural and functional unit of life. On the basis of their structural complexity the cells can be broadly categorized as either prokaryotic or eukaryotic. The former being the most simpler form of life with no membrane bound nucleus and the later evolved much later so that the cell can adjust and adapt to the changing nature.

Prokaryotic cells are those cells which lack a well defined nucleus and membrane bound cell organelles. On the other hand, eukaryotic cells are those cells which have membrane bound cell organelles and a well defined nucleus

The given question is concerned about the eukaryotic cell.
