Here height of the object is given, we have to find the velocity of the object at t=2

We know that the derivative of the displacement function gives tha velocity function. So by finding the derivative of the given displacement function and putting t=2 in the velocity function will give the velocity of the object at t=2 seconds.

To find the maximum height of the object, we know that at maximum height the velocity of the object becomes zero. 

So equating the velocity function to zero and finding the corresponding value of t will give the time at which the maximum height occurs.

Then putting the Value of t in height function will give the maximum height of the object.
