Negative feedback/Positive feedback
Biological systems show a hierarchy of complexity that ranges from the simplest form to the most advanced form. A stepwise order to arrange all of these forms in a linear and ascending fashion is called levels of the organization where each level represents a form as per the complexity in structure and function.
Homeostatic mechanisms are crucial for the good maintenance of the body as it is crucial to balance the internal environment of the body concerning the changes occurring in the external environment. Two feedback mechanisms are employed in humans which are involved in employing homeostasis by their respective mechanisms. These mechanisms are called the Negative feedback mechanism and Positive feedback mechanism.
