For the above data and computer software, find
Draw scatter plot to determine the regression model is linear or not?
(i)
If the regression model is linear
Compute estimates of the slope and the intercept for the regression of Y on X.
(iii)
Draw the fitted line on your scatterplot.
(iv)
Compute the linear regression
(v)
Compute the t-tests for the hypotheses that By = 0 and that B =0
and find the appropriate p-values using two-sided tests.
(vi)
Obtain the analysis of variance table and F-test for regression.
(vii)
Obtain a 99% confidence interval for B, from the data.
(vii) Give the value of the coefficient of determination, and explain its meaning.
