From figure, the direction of the magnetic field is given from north to south. And in rotating coil the current will flow. Given in the figure that the coil is moving in an anti-clockwise direction when seen from the above.

So by using RHR-1 the direction of the current will be downward at the side of the loop which is near to the south. And the direction of the current will be upward at the side of the loop which is near to the north.

The top and bottom segments of the loop feel a force perpendicular to the wire, so these two segments will not cause a current.

Now the condition that the coil is a loop is satisfied here.
