- Exercise #2 Implement an instance method belonging to the IntArrayBag class that takes two input parameters, oldVal and newVal. The method replaces each oldVal element in the array with newVal. Make sure to include the method header.I need to have a main method in a Tester class that will: Fill an array of type Vehicle[] of size NUM_VEHICLES with Vehicle objects. You need to generate a random number between 0 and 2. If the number is 0, add a Vehicle to the array. 1, add a Car, 2, add a Boat. The Vehicle/Car/Boat that you add must be initialized with a random efficiency between 0 and 100.0. Do this until you have added NUM_VEHICLES objects to the array How do I write it so that the array generates random numbers 0 through 2 (inclusive) and how would I then correlate those numbers to a different class object? In this project, you will implement a Set class that represents a general collection of values. For this assignment, a set is generally defined as a list of values that are sorted and does not contain any duplicate values. More specifically, a set shall contain no pair of elements e1 and e2 such that e1.equals(e2) and no null elements. (in java)Requirements among all implementations there are some requirements that all implementations must maintain. • Your implementation should always reflect the definition of a set. • For simplicity, your set will be used to store Integer objects. • An ArrayList<Integer> object must be used to represent the set. • All methods that have an object parameter must be able to handle an input of null. • Methods such as Collections. the sort that automatically sorts a list may not be used. Instead, when a successful addition of an element to the Set is done, you can ensure that the elements inside the ArrayList<Integer>…
- Java Complete a method calledRedundantCharacterMatch(ArrayList<Character> YourFirstName): the parameter of this method is an ArrayList<Character> whose elements are the characters in your first name (they should be in the order appear in your first name, e.g., if your first name is bob, then the ArrayList<Char> includes ‘b’, ‘o’, ‘b’.). The method will check whether there exists duplicate characters in your name and return the index of those duplicate characters. For example, when using bob as first name, it will return b: 0, 2. 2. Create an ArrayList<Character> NameExample. All the characters of your first name will appear twice in this ArrayList. For example, if your first name is bob, then NameExample will include the following element {b,o,b,b,o,b}. Then, please use NameExample as parameter for the method RedundantCharacterMatch(). If your first name is bob, the results that print in the console will be b: 0, 2, 3, 5 o: 1, 4Compare and contrast the array and arrayList. Give at least one example that describe when to use arrayList compared to an array.demonstrates the ComparatorDemo class, which uses Arrays after populating a collection with Student objects. To show the difference in the sort order, arrange each of our Comparator objects.
- So how fast is the merge sort? Does it depend on the type of array? We saw with some of our previous sorts that it depended on the initial array. For example, an Insertion sort was much faster for a nearly sorted array. In this exercise, you are given the Sorter class, which contains a static mergeSort method that takes an int array and length as an input. You are also given the SortTester class which has three static methods for creating 3 different types of arrays. For this test, create one of the three arrays, then take a start time using System.currentTimeMillis(). Next, run the array through the mergeSort method in the Sorter class. Finally, record the end time and print out the results. Repeat this for the other two array types. Sample Output Random Array: ** Results Hidden ** Almost Sorted Array: ** Results Hidden ** Reverse Array: ** Results Hidden **CODE IN JAVA METHOD TO FIND PAIRS IN AN ARRAY LIST THAT CAN BE MULTIPLIED TOGETHER TO GET PARAMETER Complete the method findPairs which receives an array of integers and an intand returns an ArrayList of instances of Pair (this class is available in theQuestion.java file). You should search the array for any two ints whose product(i.e. when multiplied) is equal to the int parameter. When you find a pair, createan instance of Pair and add it to the ArrayList to be returned. The order of thevariables in the constructor is irrelevant. Do not modify the Pair class. Example 1:Array contains (1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1)int parameter = 4The ArrayList should contain one instance of Pair with the values (2, 2). Example 2:Array contains (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)int parameter = 12The ArrayList should contain two instances of Pair with the values (2, 6) and(3, 4) Example 3:Array contains (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1)int parameter = 3The ArrayList should be empty as there are no ways to compute the product of…Question 2 Get the Array ADT implementation from your textbook to work. Demonstrate that your code works as specified in the ADT. You are free to change internal names so that you can make better sense of the code provided in the textbook. You will need this code for later exercises Your implementation must provide _str_() and repr_() methods, in addition to the methods implemented in the textbook. The output of these methods must return each value separated with a comma in a string. For example, if the array has values 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18, these methods must return the string "10, 12, 14, 16, 18" Your code should support following operations: import random array = Array ( 100 ) for i in range( len( array ) ): # array[i] = random.random() # Print individual values in the array. # for value in array: # print(value) # Print the entire array. # print(array )
- Part 2: Sorting the WorkOrders via dates Another error that will still be showing is that there is not Comparable/compareTo() method setup on the WorkOrder class file. That is something you need to fix and code. Implement the use of the Comparable interface and add the compareTo() method to the WorkOrder class. The compareTo() method will take a little work here. We are going to compare via the date of the work order. The dates of the WorkOrder are saved in a MM-DD-YYYY format. There is a dash '-' in between each part of the date. You will need to split both the current object's date and the date sent through the compareTo() parameters. You will have three things to compare against. You first need to check the year. If the years are the same value then you need to go another step to check the months, otherwise you compare them with less than or greater than and return the corresponding value. If you have to check the months it would be the same for years. If the months are the same you…For the final exercise, we are going to create a 2D Array tester. We want our tester to be versatile, so the class has been designed to take any 2D Object. Polymorphism will allow us to pass any Object type in and do a comparision using that object’s .equal method. This can get a little tricky, so you are given a bit of the structure to help make this happen. You are also given a complete tester code that will compare 4 different arrays for you. The first two should be the same and return true, the second two are different and should return false. Your task is to complete the equals method. Two arrays are equal if all the elements are the same. As you develop your logic, be sure to consider the case when two arrays may be different sizes. public class TwoDTester { public static void main(String[] args) { Integer[][] firstArray = {{2,3}, {3,4}, {4,5}};Integer[][] secondArray = {{2,3}, {3,4}, {4,5}};TwoDArray first = new…Write a sorting class that sorts elements of an array of type Long in ascending order. note: Array class should not be imported. Scanner should not be used either. Code should be implemented from scratch without using other data structures.
