As there are number of approaches that are formulated by psychologists, that can be used to help the individual to conquer their problems. One of the approach or concept is given by Egan, according to him, in the counseling sessions, the skilled helper or counselor help the client in such a way that the client himself/herself can able to solve or manage their problems and can also find opportunities, resources, and needs that are still unnoticed by the client in his/her life.
The skilled helper helps the client to become self-sufficient, prepare their clients to solve the future problems on their own.
