To solve above circuit, either of the circuit theory rules can be applied:

Kirchhoff's Law:
There are two Kirchhoff's law.
KCL: It states that at any node the sum of incoming and outgoing current is always zero or we can also say at any node the sum of incoming current is equal to the outgoing current
KVL: It state that in any mesh the sum voltages applied, and voltage drop is always zero or we can say that the sum of voltages in a close loop is always zero.

Mesh analysis: In mesh analysis or mesh current method a current variable is assigned in each mesh and KVL is written for each mesh, and the set of obtained equation is solved to find each mesh current.

Nodal Analysis: To solve an electric circuit using nodal analysis first all the nodes are identified and each node is assigned with a node voltage and one node is assigned as reference node. Now set of equation is formed for all the assigned node voltages, on solving the obtained equation we will get each node voltage.
