Question from Intermediate Algebra 10th edition by Pearson (Ch 1.7 hw probolem 57) "IBM estimated that 2.5 exabytes of information was generated everyday in 2012 by the worldwide population of 7.1 billion people. Given that an average double spaced typed page is equivalent to 2 kilobytes of information, each person generated , on average, is equivalent of how many typed pages of information?" I know what im given, and know I have to write to answer in correct scientific notation. Ive read the chapter over and over but I still dont know what equation Im supposed to use to solve this, because the text book isnt really specific on what to do.
Equations and Inequations
Equations and inequalities describe the relationship between two mathematical expressions.
Linear Functions
A linear function can just be a constant, or it can be the constant multiplied with the variable like x or y. If the variables are of the form, x2, x1/2 or y2 it is not linear. The exponent over the variables should always be 1.
