PLEASE ORGANISE MY PAPER FOR ME. THANK YOU JOSEPH ADDO COLORADO CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY ADULT STUDIES SEMINAR II July 18, 2024. All over the world, Christianity is practiced in every country. Even Muslim countries allow certain teachings of the Bible to be taught in schools. Before we delve into why the word Christian is used in Colorado Christian University and what the word means, we ought to understand who a Christian is. Who is Christian? A Christian is someone who believes in Jesus Christ and follows his teachings. The word Christian is used by Colorado Christian University because it is the mission of the school to equip students to have a biblically-based mindset—thinking, behaving, and performing as the Bible instructs—as they prepare themselves for the vocation God has chosen for them. As part of their training, students are also equipped to be agents of change based on a fully formed Christian worldview. Faith-based universities like Colorado University help students develop their minds, spirits, bodies, and faith, which has already been proven through a spiritual foundation. This perspective can make one's education at Colorado Christian University a transformative experience, shaping not just one's career but also one's character and worldview. Attending Colorado Christian University will change my journey to success in academics, community, and social life. Also, there is a keen sense of community because I often find myself finishing every session with my advisor with a prayer, and it makes me feel good about my path to success. According to the university's essence and purpose statement, "The University exists to produce graduates who think critically, live faithfully, and impact effectively their spheres of influence. This purpose is achieved through a highly competent and dedicated faculty, an integrated academic curriculum, and student life programs designed to deepen understanding, strengthen faith, shape character, and nurture compassionate response in a need-filled world" (Colorado Christian University, n.d.). For me, this statement is the reason I chose this university and why it will impact my academic and personal life at Colorado Christian University. In conclusion, attending a Christian university can offer many benefits, including a unique integration of faith and learning, a keen sense of community, academic excellence, a focus on ethical and moral development, and service opportunities. These benefits can contribute to a rich, holistic educational experience that prepares students as engaged, responsible citizens for their careers and lives.
