Expert Solution
Step 1

1. Cuticle is the outermost layer of the plants which is present on leaves, fruits, flowers and other non-woody parts. It is produced by the epidermal cells exclusively.

2. Sugars or other nutrients required by the plants is transported through the phloem cells of the plant, which forms a passage.

3. There are three basic types of the cells present in the plant. One of them is sclerenchyma which is lignified to give structural support to the plants by forming fibers.

4. The photosynthetic organ of the plants is the stomata which exchange the gases. It is present in the leaf mesophyll. There are two types of parenchyma cells present in the leaf mesophyll known as spongy parenchyma and palisade parenchyma. palisade parenchyma has the most number of chloroplasts.
