"

I think that artificial intelligence is fascinating because it is something that seems so futuristic and fiction, but we are getting closer and closer to it every single day. I think that overall, artificial intelligence is a good thing. I think that it can be extremely powerful in the digital world, and bring us to new heights with our processing powers and the speed at which things get done. Although efficiency is a huge plus of such artificial intelligence, it begins hinting at the question of what the limits are. Scientists and scholars are rapidly improving artificial intelligence and finding more ways to implement it into our daily lives, in order to make them easier. However, some may be concerned about how much we want artificial intelligence to improve, and how much we want it to be a part of our lives. The biggest concern many have is that of which happens all the time in sci fi movies: What happens when artificial intelligence is more intelligent than us? Personally, I don't think that this is a pressing concern yet. I think that that level of technology is still not feasible at the moment, and I think that researchers are well aware of this concern and will keep their curiosity at bay to not let this happen yet. Even though I am not concerned about ai being so intelligent that it turns evil, I am concerned about artificial intelligence taking up a huge portion of the jobs available to people right now. Minimum wage jobs such as cashiers are already being replaced by computers, and this trend will continue to spread into the manufacturing sector of things and take many blue collar jobs throughout the country."
