Ivan Petrovich Pavlov: 26 Sep 1849- 27 Feb 1936
Ivan Pavlov was one of the famous Russian psychologists who was best known for the theory of classical conditioning.
Earlier in his childhood, he showed intellectual curiosity with some unusual energy that is being referred to as "instinct of research". Later on, he abandoned his career in religious things and was devoted to science. In 1870, he has been enrolled in the mathematics and physics department to study natural sciences at the "University of Saint Petersburg".
He won Nobel prize in the field of medicine and physiology and was also considered as the 24th most cited psychologist during the 20th century.
