This week I want you to become familiar with the different political parties in the United States You do not have to read every word of every platform, but please go through them and see what they stand for and why. Note the differences (and similarities) between them. It is important to note that the Republican Party opted NOT to adopt a new platform for 2020, and instead, they have said they're just continuing with the 2016 platform (this is not common practice).
Please note that political parties only adopt new platforms for Presidential Election years, so the recent 2022 Midterm elections used the 2020 platforms.
