Question

This question is open-ended, the answer required is based on an understanding of how to Design a Circuit in order to function properly.

No.1.Refer to the device specifications given in table1.

You are required to design a Stage Two Amplifier with a single -stage two -stage topology. The amplifier design on your chip must not exceed 0.04mm² and operate with a single supply voltage of 1.5V.Upon completion of the design, you find that the amplifier must meet the following specifications:

i. If the total resistance on the chip: 10kΩ <RT <20kΩ.

You can also use more than one resistor. However, the total resistance should not exceed the specifications in table 1. You need to specify your resistance value (if you use resistors) to justify your reasoning of designing a Second Stage Amplifier form by crawling two single -stage topologies.

ii. Total voltage gain> (-) 300.Guided one -level topology selection.

You are required to explain the selection of a one - level topology with reference to the specifications in table 1.

iii. Your drain current should be very small, i.e. less than a milliampere (mA).

You are prohibited from using ideal current sources in your design. Instead, you need to create your own load circuit in the amplifier design.
