The beam in the figure below is perpendicular to the wall and supported at the wall by a hinge at point A. The beam is also supported by a cable with an attachement point on the beam at distance "m" from the wall. The cable is attached to the wall at a distance "l" above point A. The beam is subject to an applied load "W" at point B as well as the beam's own weight "Wb" which acts at the mid-point between points A and B. The beam is also subject to an applied moment Mc with direction as shown on the figure.
